I walked into a forklift

Along with many other multitudes of stationary objects today.

Alright, so anyways, I had to change the speech bubble of this so it would make more sense out of context. This is more or less a present for my friend Nicole, who I was talking to on msn this morning.. She said she had a story to tell me, and asked if I wanted to hear it, to which I replied "Yeah sure," then not even a second later "Brb"

The phone went off and I had to make a flying leap out of my chair to go tearing after it. When I'm at the shop, I get to play secretary.

So I explained what happened to Nicole when I got back, and she laughed and said I should totally draw that. I started to make a little mini four panel comic about it, but I only finished two panels, and this one made me smile.

Originally the speech bubble would have read "Ring!" as in.. a simple telephone ring, but it really wouldn't make sense in this image alone. I tweaked it, so it's my dad screaming for me. When he calls me Sarah... I know I'm in trouble.

I had fun working on this.. but my graphire is out to destroy me. It just.. occasionally decides it doesn't want to work, but only on certain areas. It's ridiculous, it's not very old, the drivers are up to date, it's in perfect condition.. SO WHY DAMMIT D=>

oh well.. I'll start one of my epic quests to save up for a new one.

but I'm actually still wide awake. Just posting my WIP for Sasaki's assignment. I'm juggling the two paintings and switching between them as i work, and even though it's two in the morning, I feel like just.. Barreling along and to continue working!

I'm very excited to start on my RP portrait.

This one here is my cultural. I'm seven generations Canadian on my dads side, so I'm just wearing regular ol' gear, but the background I took from photos of Loch Ness, in Scotland, where my grandpa on my mom's side came from.

What I wouldn't give to see it for myself one day.

So I hate these... but I love them XD I hate them because they are so LAME and so action for the sake of action drawings >< Look at the bottom one, what is he doing? Can you guess? HE'S JUMPING OVER A WALL AND REACHING FOR SOMETHING THAT ONLY HE CAN SEE 8D

But I love them because I enjoyed drawing them and they came out well =3

Ainmire totally hates my guts now, but I let him punch someone in the face, so he's forgiven me just the tiniest bit.

I'm still wondering what the HELL happened to Laurent XD he seems to have vanished...

GOODNESS hyper.

BUT I AM DONE. Animal life drawings (No, I'm not happy with them, but they will suffice) my two hand drawings, my character rotation, my expression sheet, my two action poses, my storyboard, my composition drawings, my room drawings (I wish I had the time to redo those for line weights like I initially planned), and of course, my five original artworks. Two of which are miniature digital paintings centered on the page, One which is six sketches collaged together on one piece of paper, one which is three ATC's set up on the same page, and the last which is one of my design pieces. OH MY GOODNESS I FEEL SO LIBERATED.

All that I have left to do is to pick out another life drawing I am proud of (I may include some extra's in my portfolio) get those scanned in at the printing center (and if they do not do stuff like that, then I will figure out something otherwise) print EVERYTHING off, print up my title page, and make it all nice and hand-in-able, and.. Hand it in.

And that is it!!! I have completed it, it is finished!

I was having doubts Friday, but I've decided not to worry about it, that I am going to let things happen as they will, and if I DON'T get in, and I do wind up in Advertising.. I've more or less decided unless I have some hidden passion for advertising, I'm going to try again next year.

I hated today

I waste far too much time. Alright so, just some expressions I reworked, mostly for line variety, but these are better in terms of execution too.

I've been up too late, my eyes are stinging.

I must've drawn up four rotation sketches today, and I was getting so BLASTED frustrated, I wound up throwing them all out, and deciding I am going to use the wonderful invention of the lightbox, and just rework my old rotation as opposed to killing myself over a brand new one.

God, today was a waste =[ I knew I had work to do, but nothing was working, at all. Now I have to do even MORE tomorrow, and uh.. crud, my sisters coming home for a visit. Aaaaah she's going to haaate me

Just watching the new x-men show, and very much enjoying it. I like gambit in this new x-men! He is very awesome. And I like nightcrawler too XD Always had a fondness for him, I did. SO I DOODLED HIIIIM. He has very awesome hair in this series. I loooove his hair in this series. Eeee hair XD

Much better than the last night crawler I attempted, one day I shall redo that... perhaps. Possibly. Maybe.

and totally stopped paying attention to the next episode because I was busy drawing. Sigh, no wonder I get so confused. MOVING ON!

A very sore day

Alrighty, drew.. I at least think I drew all of this today.

So I get to school, print off my essay, post to the RP, check out the school of aesthetics hours, and go to Andreas for tea. And I am pretty sure that is when I drew Dailan (No, I don't care how it LOOKS like it's pronounced, you know my intentions). decided to give him gloves to match the boots =P

I need to do some more writing. For my comic thing I mean..

Okay I did something today I haven't done in a very long long time. I fell off my stool in class.

Today just started off all wrong... Dave scared the living daylights out of me when class started, as I walked over to turn on the lights, clicked them on (still talking to my friends) turned around and Dave was there and went "Boo!" and uhm.. yeah, I screamed, again, and had to leave the classroom cause the door was RIGHT there, and I was all shaky. Oh yeah, I'm brave alright.

So then I was sitting in my stool, and I always sit way far back on my stool, and... I fell. I'm not even totally sure how I DID that, but somehow I was no longer on my stool and I was on the ground. Very smooth, yes I am. Not.

So later, in fantasy and fairytale.. Don't I wind up on my ass AGAIN. And I'm still aching over that one.. Anyways, sitting around all bored like, ten minute break finally comes around and I decide to exit the classroom the back way, as it is clearly a faster route to get to Tims than the front exit. Sarah and I leave and kinda hover around waiting for Chris, who is waiting for Paul, who comes racing out of the classroom, who somehow trips over me, which knocks me off balance, and I WOULD have caught myself had I not been unbalanced from my bag of textbooks. I hit the ground very hard, and even now I'm in pain over it ><

Sigh, today was just a "Fall-On-Ass" day

My eyes are killing me, so I'm not going to stay on much longer. Too much computer exposure from that all-nighter I pulled the night before last. I don't plan to do one of those again any time soon.

Oh yeah, I'm finally making that appointment with the optometrist that mom suggested I look into like.. in october. I wasn't going to go, because I can't afford glasses even if I do wind up needing them (which I probably won't, because as far as I can tell I see clearly), but Andrea said I should go just so if it IS because of my eyes, I'll at least have an answer for these stupid headaches. Leah also told me I should go anyways, cause it never hurts, if there's a problem I'll save myself a lot of pain in the long run. Also if something is wrong, and I don't get glasses, I'm not allowed to complain about my headaches anymore ><

Yay, all prepped up to go to the docs and be told "YOU'RE A-OKAY! now go away,"

Pretty much i started doodling this when my dad hijacked E-Vain earlier to convert a bunch song files to an SD card. I redid my gaia avatar this morning because I wanted a Suka avatar FOREVER ago, and uh.. never got around to doing it. So here is what Suka looks like dressed up as my gaia avatar! The only hair on Gaia that is close enough to Suka's is way to pale :B

Anyways, WEEEEE. I'm still very happy with it, none the less, even if there isn't an ounce of creativity in drawing the same character over and over ><

And once I finish my tea, I'm going to have a shower, and them I'm going to.. Finish.. My fairytale essay I have been beating myself over the head with all day.

Tada! This is Iston. I've left the blue lines on because... Well because i didn't add my nice lines yet, so he looks silly and flat when i remove the blue lines. So the blues will stay!

Okay, so this is my antagonistic character I created for a RP I am involved in, and this is the first.. decent picture I've made of him. I had others but uh.. yeah they were at home, so this is his NEW design!

This is what happens when I read about nasty Elves. I create one.

Pretty much, he's an Elf who wove together (with magic) the perfect human disguise, and he's been living as a human in the Vampire city of Knunoileh as a spy for the past three years. So long as he doesn't get bitten, no one will be the wiser. Truth? Nobody could deal with his cocky and whiny attitude so dumped him somewhere where he wouldn't bother them anymore.

He's GREAT with the mental magic, can work wonders when it comes to a persons mind. His disguise is basically just that, but.. you try hiding your scent from over sensitive Vampires. It ain't easy, so give him a couple points there X3

Okee... So I've already planned out an epic death for this guy, buuut I've revised it just the tiniest bit to leave it a little uncertain if he dies or not, just in case he turns out to be useful later on. No point in wasting a half decent character XD

Okay, so these guys on the right are Suka and Dailan (I changed the spelling to make the pronunciation a little more obvious) just.. chillin. So I realized in the last picture of Dailan I posted.. I totally forgot about his goatee D=>

I added it back in my sketchbook, but I am lacking the energy to change it for my blog X3

Yay doodles!

YAY, my two characters, one who is still in desperate need of a name. I think I'm going to call him... Dylan, because that just popped into my head right now.

Okay so Dylan STARTED as a drawing of Suka, when I realized.. She's a bit lacking in the finesse department to pull off such a nice easy dodge, so it turned into Dylan. After all, with goat horns hes GOTTA have the nice lovely goat agility too! Can scale rocky mountains quicktime!

So then I drew Suka, who would probably jump away from something frightening more like this, with a half uttered gasp or a sharp short scream. Wee! So Dylan is definately going to be the more laid back type, and loves teh monies. I wanna make Ain cameo in this story somewhere, because I doubt I'm ever going to get around to making his story into anything more than a dead and dusty RP. Just trying to figure out an excuse to throw him in there for a bit!

Right, back to my old school cartoons.

Edit: I know where I got Dylan from 8D conversations from Sarah earlier this morning she mentioned her bosses name, and it popped into my head now X3

Well.. yeah I guess procrastinating works X3 I prefer to call it distracting.. However either way I just spent a lot of time on this => that was supposed to be spent working on my pop up cards for 3d design ><

So.. I guess I'm going to be getting less sleep than normal tonight! I have virtually no supplies.. so I am going to be cutting out and colouring and gathering together the pieces I need and assembling them in class tomorrow.

Yay work! Wish I had actually been working on it X3

Anyways, about the choice drawing of the day...

Damn I forgot how much I love Spiderman XD I started watching the series today that I still had on my computer from Sarah's birthday gift. The IDEA was that I would let the episodes play as background noise while I worked... buuut I wound up paying more attention to the show than my homework, then I wanted to doodle something, then I was happy with my doodle and wanted to add some lines, then I was happy with the lines and wanted to add more variation, THEN I wanted to colour it, and uh.. yeah.. now its twenty after midnight and I'm still on the computer with only half of what I planned to have done by now done.

But hey, I had fun! Haven't really drawn western heros all that much, save a nightcrawler ATC i made, soooo.. Yeah. Oki, back to my pop up and my spiderman! Night night!
