Hustle Bustle

I was tired of having my anime commission head my blog.

I haven't really stopped moving for the past couple of days; I got hired to work on portfolio's this year, so I've been getting up early and headed to Sheridan every day to run portfolio's back and forth between teachers.

It's pretty awesome, I feel like I'm the one dishing out homework to teachers- but I don't really get the chance to sit down. I worked on this doodle on and off throughout the day, whenever I got more than ten seconds to be on a chair and with some relative concentration.

Kit and Sherry! I think Sherry's adorable, and I like pairing him up with other characters. I think he winds up with Ninja, but it's going to take a very long time, for the both of them (longer for Ninja) to mature to that state. I don't think my story will follow them that far, unfortunately. This here is a hypothetical situation from rift, where Sherry is conducting some repairs, and Kit is.. visiting. Derp smile is derp.

Sherlock has a massive crush on Kit; but she's ten years older than he is. Also, I drew Kit in her entirety and hid her behind a gigantic computer component.

I had a really good day today. I'm trying to be a more positive person; I'm exhausted and sleepy, but I enjoyed every moment of my day. This is a good job; it's fun and enjoyable, I get to spend the day with my teachers, see what comes in, learn a few interesting things, meet teachers of future years.. it's good times. Positives are easy when nothings the problem though; let's see how I do when things get rough again.

No More Noise!

It was on my list of things to do, revamp the last picture I made. I wanted to paint a new spacey background, but unfortunately I'm pressed for time, so I took the last one, upped the contrast and put it in.

I then had to put an outer glow around Tinette because otherwise you lost a lot of her outfit against the blue in the ... I guess I can't really call space a sky, can I? Oh well.

Revamped! She looks less retarded than the old one, and her body shape is a little more accurate. I'm starting to realize Tinette's boobs aren't as massive as I always joked, but her hips certainly are. She's a gorgeous hippy babe! Haha.

Didn't make the effort to have her hair twisting out to be in view because you know what, by now everyone knows Tinette has a braid that goes down to her knees. Almost her knees, just above her knees, really.

She looks much more Captainy here.

A Small Handful of the Cosmos

This is a carry on of my last blog entry, only a different character, obviously.

This is my latest buddy, Sherlock Nikodemus Grunsbury. I only recently figured out how to draw his hair, so you've probably only seen ridiculous pictures of him before.

Playing with my new brushes- actually trying this out, experimenting with texture. Unfortunately, Sherry stands in the way of most of my work, but that's okay, haha.

Sherlock is 16, and as it turns out, my lack of thinking things through means he's been on the Octavius II for three years already, so he's been this ships head of communications since he was thirteen.

He's also the unfortunate target of a lot of bullying because he's so young, but that's just going to make my life so much fun when it comes to writing

So for your pleasure, my head of communications and a small chunk of the cosmos!

Stars and Noise!

I started a new RP (In the sense that I wrote the post that starts everyone off. Somehow I've never done that before), and this one is in SPACE!

It also involves my characters being mildly professional. Somehow or another, Tinette wound up being Captain! I'm not sure if this was my suggestion, but if it was, it wasn't the smartest idea I've ever had. Primarily because she has to actually care about her crew. Which, I don't think Tinette would.

Then again, she does possess the qualities of a good leader, as she's stubborn, authoritative, doesn't take anyone's nonsense, and she can be very scary. She's not the best leader in the sense that she can be extremely self absorbed, and she loves wine.

I drew this as a break from the frustrations of trying to draw dog expressions. It seems I had it for a while there, and then I lost it again, which was incredibly disappointing. Ah well, I'll try again tomorrow!

The noise is a lot more obvious on this monitor than on my other one, haha.

First shift tomorrow, serving wine at the schools gallery. I am terrified! But I am in need of pocket change (was recently selling off some of my action figures) and so, work.

This weekend I have a bunch of work to do; have to do my master copy painting, have to finish my bone studies and I have to draw all eight character expressions. If I have another night like today, I might switch to people expressions just out of desperation- but hopefully I can handle drawing the dog. Just an off night, that's all!

And- I think tonight I shall retire early. Too sleepy, haha.
