LOOKIT ALL THE DOODLES 8D

This is what I spend my days doing. I doodled a whole bunch for Ainmire too! The little costume drawings make me happy. As do the expressions, and the pose drawings.. and pretty much the entire thing makes me very happy.

Oh look, my puppy came to see me! My parents must be out of the house.

So here I present Suka Amaia, the version that goes with my original story, not the version I RP with.

I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING.. "Geez, I cosplayed as a pirate last year, and having one eye covered severely messes up your depth of perception and makes you walk into things!"

Why yes, I wholly agree; I happened to cosplay as a pirate last year too! But it doesn't matter. She's blind under those bandages anyways, so her depth perception has adjusted after a few months of not being able to see out of that eye at all.

The outfit I painted her in isn't anything specific, I used it because I was very happy with the under drawing and didn't want to hide it under folds of clothes or cuffs, or ruffles, or all the normal stuff Suka tends to have attached to her little dress. Off to the right, I made minis of other outfits she wears, the one in the upper right being her original costume I invented for her ever. To the left of that, is the redesign I went through and fail to stick to because I don't seem to enjoy colouring Suka completely in brown. Below those are something Suka would probably never wear of her own choice (Just look at how confident that outfit is), and is more or less what I have in mind for when her clothes are damaged and she needs to wear someone elses clothing because she doesn't own any of her own anymore.

Some expressions, the fourth one down being one she isn't very practiced in and doesn't often wear. Frowning hurts her face! She often gets upset or confused as opposed to angry; and below that a sneak at what's underneath all the bandaging she wears on her face! Oooo, revealed: the disease that is going to kill her unless she finds a cure for it.

And beside all the expressions, little naked poses just to show a bit more of her personality. More or less, waiting, relaxing and cowering.
