Multitasking Musings;

I've actually been doing pretty good with art recently. Just a lot of doodles, because I've been busy with work and fighting off a burnout (By the way, I very much succeeded).

But, between all that, I did find time to get some drawing in, though not a whole lot.

First, on the left I have a couple ballpoint pictures I coloured really quickly with my water colour brush. The first one is Suka, obviously, dressed up in different gear from what I normally give her. I started a new RP with my dear girl, and this one involves the Grecian storyline I made a couple of years ago specifically to do battle comics with.

Instead, I wound up using it for and RP, but the RP died because... Well, I don't know, it just died.

It's going quite well now and we're having a lot of fun, ha.

Ainmire and Kara as well, and they're both being used in the same RP. Kara and Suka are both currently being held hostage while Ainmire and Kerorphe are busy fighting for their lives in a giant labyrinth just jam packed of monsters, demi-gods, and idiots.

To the right, are Ninja and Suka!

Ninja was just a doodle I did when I was trying to get into drawing again; You can tell because my anatomy is bad, I didn't draw a shoe, she's leaning on nothing, and it looks kinda stupid.

Haha.

I never draw Rebel... Poor guy, he's been taking a lot of heat lately from my coworkers/friends.

Beside that, holy crap, it's Suka again!

I know.

This is a mock up for something I'm working on in the long run. I still have a lot of work to do, because after three drawings I still wasn't happy with this one.

Oh well!

I do have a great picture planned out, I just have to actually draw it.

Tada! Yukio and Ainmire.

I love drawing Yukio, and I miss my baby very much.

I sort of wish I could just skip to writing about him in my own story, but he's quite a ways off in my storyline.

He won't be as interesting after the fact, when he gets his soul returned... but that's alright, he's still my baby.

Besides, when he gets his soul back, he get's hilariously jaded and whiny and he acts a lot like... like... well I'm not sure, but it's humorously flamboyant.

Ainmire I just drew because at work we were discussing why kilts are so awesome on men, and why I had a character with a kilt in the first place. Eventually I'll be able to actually draw him as a like.. properly built dude.. but so far! The musculature is not happening.

One day.

His outfit used to be hilariously complicated. Now I've simplified it to a cape and a kilt and some fuzzy boots.

And this, is Suka, Tinette, and one little Yukio who got sat on.

It's also an account of my fight with the flies.

Oh, these were also drawn the night I didn't have any sleep at all.

So they make no sense.

Tinette and Yukio, what the hell, that never happens.

But the idea crossed my mind, I found it remotely funny (by remotely I mean I was killing myself laughing) and I decided to draw it.

Also, a curvy Tinette that was RIDICULOUSLY fat before I realized I was insane with sleep deprivation and redrew it.

And, a Suka, sitting on some sort of invisible surface!

I'm so awesome.

I'm Currently Not Melting

Because for once, Oakville has decided to stay at a bearable temperature; Allowing me to sit in my room and NOT die.

And what am I doing with that chance? Scanning and typing and posting to RPs.

Okay, so to the left! This is a picture of Rebel, Ninja and Alleiah. This is probably along the point in the time line where Rebel is on the run, and trying to find a safe place for his sister. He brings her home, hoping their mother will look after his little sister- but, she refuses, too ashamed of her mistakes from the past.

Rebel is then forced to take Ninja with him and to try to protect her. This all eventually leads to his demise.

This is the closest I'll ever get to a family portrait of the three.

I used to think Ninja and Rebel were even players in Rise, but they're not. The story is all about Ninja, again following the characters growth and change. I'm so bad with epics- All of my stories focus on particular characters and the changes they go through as life goes on.

I think, at the base of it, I've really got two stories. Sure, I've got starts and middles and finishes and bits here and bits there, and occasionally a complete, albeit thready plot; But I think the only two stories I care about are these ones.

I usually feel kinda bad, because I don't have as many characters as a lot of my friends, since as far back as I can remember sharing stories- but the characters I do have, are very special to me.

Aaaand a really quick "I'm trying to stop drawing crap" scribble of Suka. She's not all covered up, so this is probably post-rescue, and shortly before her disease gets too powerful and she croaks.

Despite everything she'd gone through, she's still happy, though a lot more conscientious of the world around her, and much more independent. By the end of the story, Suka's finally figured out that she can't always count on someone being around to look after her. Granted, it comes by the overwhelming feeling of being abandoned- after living with it for close to two years, and wanting nothing more than to be left to her own suffering, she accepts this and can carry on with life like a normal human being.

And then Alan comes to save the day! Yaaay!! Which leads to even more excitement. I love writing.

Or I Could Just Work on Brown Paper

Instead of constantly sticking it on paper stock.

But, I'm lazy; and I just didn't want to leave it on a white background.

I drew and painted this while watching Criminal Minds and Star Wars!

Yukio and Ninja don't actually ever cross paths, but I like pitting them against each other in pictures anyways.

Can you count all the bones I broke? Haha, Drawing in pencil wasn't working out very well, so I grabbed my ballpoint and went at it with that. I've gone on about how much I love ballpoint before, right?

I worked the sketch out in ballpoint and coloured it quickly with my water colour pencil crayons and my water brush. Nothing fancy, just playing around while I was avoiding my bedroom.

I also don't like it, because the poses (other than the fact that I snapped Ninja's neck) are static and boring, and not saying enough, as far as I'm concerned. I'll probably rework it at some point, but not tonight.

SO YAY FOR ME, DOODLEZ TIEM.

Running Out of Ink

D'aw.

Another doodle I drew in class today. I've been working on Tinette's back story lately, trying to figure out how her current personality came about.

I figured it would be more fun if she hadn't ALWAYS been so angry about everything in life, so here I present a very much younger Tina and the love of her life. She was vain and proud before she met him, but fell in love, became annoying and sappy, realized how weak she had become, and left.

She's been trying to make up for her years of weakness since, and it does her well! She's just not happy. She's satisfied with life though, so it's close enough to happiness for her to believe in.

I started drawing in pencils, I was going to draw Tinette and Suka interacting because they're so different, but I wound up scribbling it out because it wasn't working. Instead I dug through my bag for the ballpoints I was playing with yesterday and started to sketch in pen instead, and I produced this!

I walked into a concrete telephone pole today.

Today wasn't much my day, my teacher was giving a recap lesson on two point and one point perspective that I learned last year, so I kept leaving class to pester Chelsea because I knew she was in the pit and I really... really didn't want to be in class. I doodled her a Tinette, and she doodled me a wolf Ain! It was fun times. Eventually though I had to return to class. Boo.

So class dragged, lecture dragged (though it's where I doodled Tinette), and in my presentation of Bernini I got really panicky and scared and kept forgetting my sentences in the middle... but according to my classmates I pulled off an interesting presentation that crossed the ten minute maximum time limit, which was awesome!

After that, I had to spend money, on paints, and a portfolio, and water colour tape, and then I headed home. I decided to take the more scenic route, and while I was walking, my phone went off. I reached into my pocket to pick it up... and walked into a pole. It was a hilarious noise in my head, a sort of, "Ka-ding" and I staggered backwards, startled that I walked into a pole. Then the pain set in, from where my glasses crushed into my eyebrow and where my skull made contact with concrete. I couldn't help but laugh, and I didn't want to reach up and touch it in case someone saw me, and to pretend I was completely unphased, but.. Owch... Hurray running into concrete poles.

I. Am. A. Doofus.

I also have a headache, so I think it's time for me to dig up some more Ibuprofin.

And I'm out!
