House Mates Make Terrible Buckets

I did that wonderful thing where I post my blog before I'm finished writing it.

I'm not finished yet, but I'm really, really tired, lol, and I just want to go to bed. I still have shadows and highlights to add, but I was thwarted from my quickie method when I realized that anything pale didn't show up through the brown paper, so I didn't bother painting it in, so I couldn't select all the colour and add shadows that way.

Oh well, it's a problem for tomorrow.

Out of context, and in it's unfinished state... this looks very sad. However, Kara's reasoning is completely justified; Fray is disgusting.

I don't normally draw other peoples characters because I can't do them justice. I have an even harder time with Sarah's characters, where their stick thin anatomy confuses the crap out of me.

I used to love drawing my friends random gift art- until every time I drew something for Victoria, the first thing she'd do when I handed it to her was point out everything I screwed up on.

It kind of ruins the fun of giving someone a gift when they complain about it.

Anyways, just something fun, a little surprise for my room mate when she wakes up.

So sleepy, bed now.

I Love Piggies

Tada! This is my title page for my Royal Winter Fair assignment, but who am I kidding, I drew this for me.

I love pigs. I love them so much, they just make me smile and warm my heart.

While I was at the fair, I met this wonderful pig, who just wanted some loving. Of course, I reached through the bars and scratched its nose! Of course, piggy wanted to smell my hand and wound up pinning my hand against the pen bars and I had a total panic attack, but lesson learned! Reach OVER the pen, not through the pen.

I returned later in the day to draw the same pig- and as I was talking to her and enjoying her nose and trying to get her to sit still so I could draw her- she sneezed on me. All up my arm. It was really icky. I immediately went to a sink to wash it off, but I still love piggies. This is also probably the best cartoon pig I've done to date; as it's no secret that I'm terrible at drawing animals.

Getting better though! One study at a time.

So this is a portrait of me and the beautiful pig from the Royal Winter Fair; having a special moment of bonding that totally didn't happen.

Piggies!

I Thought I'd Try Some Blue

I was in a drawing mood. I've been doing too much portfolio work and not a single personal piece since Christmas.

I was watching Xena and talking to a friend of mine on MSN about doll making, and I started looking up different patterns. I stumbled across more costumes than anything, and I was all itching to try some costume drawings. And I wanted to draw Tinette, because she's wonderfully curvy.

Even though tomorrow I start on a Tina marathon, because I picked her for my portfolio.

ANYWAYS...

I forget what I was talking about.

My back currently hates me, and I discovered, much to my dismay, I somehow lost about a page and a half of my writing. I was very sad; but I quickly wrote it back in. It probably wasn't as awesome as it was previously, but I would have edited it a thousand times anyways.

Yeah, I'm in a lot of pain.

Didn't feel to hot for most of the day, but what can you do.

Uhm...

Yay, blue.

I think Tina could suit just about every colour. Yay!

The Plague Is On Us

Oooo, look, more flats!

I need to encourage people to come here more often so I can collect opinions before I move on with things...

Anyways, artistic WIP to the right! It's Suka. Doi. After the last painting I did with Tina what was super super fun--

I just realized Photoshop is shut down and my CRT monitor is turned off and I don't remember closing it...

So after the painting of Tinette that I super enjoyed, I wanted to do another painting. I was tired of sketching in ballpoints and not making anything finish worthy, so I sat down with my red lead and got to work on this idea as little mini doodles.

Originally there was no tree, it was just Suka sitting against a bunch of stumps and a bush, when I realized... Jeez, a bunch of cut down trees? What sort of thing is that saying about my character? I wanted to add more life so I decided to add a tree, and make the composition a little longer and more interesting. I remembered how to draw trees from my broccoli trees of last year, hahaha... ANYWAYS

Added a bush that I'll be painting flowers on later, and some reeds to balance out everything on the other side. I just like hearing myself talk some days, so post. I like this one, it's a little more contained than Tina's painting was.

I'm still debating who to use for my portfolio character rotation. I'm torn between Suka, Tina, and Yukio, all of which would be really fun to use.

Only problem with Suka is that her 'action poses' would probably involve her falling, or running away from something

Ooog, my back is hurting me, I think I'm going to take a break for a bit.

And I'm out.

Piggies Piggies Piggies

I'm sick of being sick.

Anyways, because I haven't drawn since like... last Friday, I figured it was about time I drew something.

I had an excellent opportunity to, as 2D design was my next class, and hey! I never pay attention in that class and generally walk out with at least one good doodle.

I'm still on a ballpoint kick. Don't worry, I'll get out of it eventually, seeing as I discovered today that blue ballpoint is a lot more difficult to remove than blue colour erase pencil! Wow, who ever figured that out?

Well, I could remove it, but in the end I decided I didn't mind having all of my gray pen lines on top of the colour.

I doodled Tina and Suka today, because I didn't have some clever idea for a couple picture. Well, I did actually, but still not having done any research on dancing my whole Tinette vs Yukio wound up not happening.

I like this design for Tina, I think I'll keep it, but work on her dress a bit. Or at least the lower half of it.

I adore the contrast between these two. In every possible way.

Spent the day attempting to dislodge my lungs by coughing! Almost succeeded in puking, but luckily managed to spare myself that embarrassment. Should be gone before long, I'm at the point where there's a butt load of coughing, but I'm not feeling as though I'm attempting to breathe up water with every breath. My appetite still isn't that awesome, I've taken in virtually no protein since I got sick, which means my energy levels are low, and I feel like a slob who sits on the couch all day watching Criminal Minds or CSI or Avatar or whatever anyone else wants to watch. I just don't want to move. Attempted to eat one of the enchiladas we made on Saturday, but I hardly managed to get down two bites before I clued in it wasn't going to happen, and now it's back in the fridge. Had a salad instead! Mmmm, veggies.

I'm still feeling very energy-less! Which is why I'm sitting here typing and I'm probably going to retreat downstairs in a moment and turn on the tv while I doodle my work for tomorrow. Or just doodle my characters.

Oh that reminds me! I'm going on an artist hunt again. Time to scour the pools of Gaia forums and look for a decent artist I don't mind paying!

Lady In Red

Is dancing with meeee.... Yes, I do like that song.

Anyways, my current work in progress that I'm posting now because for some reason I'm absolutely buzzing with energy and my hands are shaking too badly to paint right now!!

It's lovely.

Normally I paint Tinette in orange, so when I first blocked in the red I thought it looked kind of odd, even though it matches her colour scheme perfectly. Stupid song, stuck in my head.

So here, I present Tina. I drew this picture to make up for the Halloween one I accidentally left behind in Orangeville. I wanted to draw her dancing, but I don't really know much about dancing, so most of the poses I drew were really.. I didn't like them and wound up scrapping them. In the end it progressed from standing very sexy like, to dancing, to dancing sexy like, to sitting seductively, to this. I quite like it!

I never got the chance to write about it, but Tinette is very well off. It comes from being ambitious and being willing to do whatever was required to get what she wanted or needed.

I love Tina.

ANYWAYS, this ismore or less the sort of life she lives when she doesn't get bored and run off to find something interesting to entertain her for a few months. Last time she left behind her very lush villa to join a troupe of traveling entertainers, which held her interest for a few weeks before she was bored of it. I'm still trying to work out how I can include Tinette in my story, but it's coming.

I think I may stick with the red instead of the orange actually... I love the attitude in this.

Oh look, Annie actually designed a background! Isn't that something? I actually get ideas for backgrounds now, and this is also sort of making up for what I left at home. I had designed a Halloween platform, where the platform itself was a round locked coffin oozing blood surrounded by a picket fence. It had a scarecrow stuck up on a pole and a bag of candy hanginf from one of the pickets. There was an arm and a skull and a pumpkin and gross to distract your attention, so I felt like doing a background again.

Tina is an appreciator of expensive wine.

Used high class black and white tiling, cushy red and purple pillows, and elegant curtains with tassles. I'm not too sure about the chair design, it just seems too... natural for her.

Oh well!

I'm in the process of painting it now, hopefully I'll have it up later tonight.

It's A Bit Like A Mirror, I guess

A little over a month ago, my friend Ksenia asked me if Suka shared any of my personality traits. I thought about it.. and I thought about it.. and I suppose in a way, she does. Of course, it wasn't until I was walking home from the bus stop with a bag of veggies in the crook of my arm, I was thinking about how I always wind up drawing Suka holding her basket in the same manner.

And that is where this idea came from!

In a way, Suka is everything I want to be, and at the same time everything I never want to be. She's very sweet and kind, and no matter what, her primary concern is always those around her. A trait I wish I could pick up on. She also doesn't complain much, while I on the other hand, complain ceaselessly. It's another one of those things I wish I could just steal from my OC. She's also very subdued and quiet, while I'm loud and bright. Yet, we both don't like strangers or being in crowded spaces, or trying to make friends, and we don't like bugs, yes, we both hate bugs. Suka is also insanely needy and very tactful because she's afraid of angering people. I am stupidly blunt at times (It leads to unpleasantries between friends) and I'm not needy.

We both share the trait that in a stressful situation, we can both keep our heads until all reason for panic is gone, and then we break down and bawl. In some ways that's good, in other ways, not so much.

Here's a preview to the painting I'm working on right now. It's Yukio, again, because for the past two weeks I've had amazing life drawing models who have the most amazing, twisted, almost impossible looking poses, and everyone I drew I was like... Goddamn, these poses are so perfect for Yukio!!

And then I came home and drew him just walking around all happy like. I've already inked this, and laid down the flats, and NOW I'm noticing things I don't like (his head is too big, his vest ((which isn't in the lines to the left)) looks awkward on his body, and just a few other things) But I think when I'm finished painting it, I'll quite like it.

I like it already, because it just has Yukio's air too it, without me having to completely distort his body and make him stand pigeon toed awkwardly like I normally draw him. Not that I don't like those, it's just fun to draw him actually in action for once.

Ah yes, Yukio can use magic. Did I ever mention that? It was a concept I threw around on his creation- Warning, hyperlink leads to super super old badly drawn image - Where becoming the Soul Puppeteer, opened his body to be a vessel for all kinds of dark energies; which of course, he learned how to harness. Even after his soul gets returned to him, he is still capable of accessing these dark powers, but he doesn't like to use them because they're a reminder of a past he forcefully left behind.

I'm enjoying this image! Going to go continue painting now.

Look, It's A Jacket!

Yukio doesn't normally wear jackets because he can't get them over his arm. Looks like hes found a way around that little problem! Can't imagine his coat being very useful, all pinned up to his shoulder like that...

I've already gushed about as much as I could about how much I love Yukio and how much I love drawing him, but in light of the new RP... I GET TO DRAW HIM AGAIN!!! Muahhahahahaha. I was going to just use my old drawing, but I realized I couldn't because I coloured Ninja and Tinette in a completely different style than the second last picture I drew of this guy.

Coming up with poses that scream "Unstable" are very very hard; this is my latest attempt. You'll notice his legs are in the same position they were last time, with the toes pointed in. He walked a bit like a broken puppet, with twitchy awkward movements and occasional shuffling of feet. His clothes get torn to shit and he doesn't notice, often gets wounded and doesn't notice.. and he's right now covered in blood that isn't his, but belongs to someone else he recently dispatched.

In his defense, he's not really sane. He's still human under all of that! Somewhere.

I didn't draw his weapon again! Ooopsie, though actually I thought about that. Normally his weapon (Which is a blade split down the middle) attaches to his wrist, acting as a further extension to the modification of his arm. On consideration, it's a highly ineffective way to have a weapon, permanently fixed to your hand; and he's right handed anyways, meaning he fights with his weaker hand--

I made it detachable! And he's extremely proud of it.

I don't have any marvelous stories for today! I didn't crash my bike, or get hit by a car, or lose my homework, or even so much trip up a set of stairs.

I think today is going quite well!

My parents are back from Rome. Dad called me yesterday and woke me up from my afternoon nap to ask me how I was doing, and I told him I got hit by a car. He seemed baffled before asking, "How did you get hit by a car!?" Though I bet he hung up the phone and had a good chuckle at it. Only me, right?

Oh yeah, dad called me in the middle of my lecture, where my phone went off and scared the holy bejeebers out of me. I promptly tried to text him to tell him to stop calling, and he called again! Brilliant. My mom wanted to come and visit me tomorrow, but I had to take a raincheck on that because tomorrow I'm going to see the Dead Sea Scrolls tomorrow at the ROM with my friend Sarah and her family. I'm excited! And need to print off that ticket...

Anyways, I'm long overdue for a nap, so I'm going to crash now.

Midnight Projects

I have really been having the most rotten string of luck lately. It has been a loooong seven days! Last Monday I crashed my bike into a bunch of bushes due to a dusty path and a lack of traction on said dusty path for my tires to cling to. They just skidded out from under me and left me with an interesting collection of cuts on my hands and a massive carpet burn on my knee. Oh and a sore shoulder, that too. I picked myself off the ground and finished my trip to school, needing to attend class.

I was stiff all of Tuesday, but I dealt. Wednesday however.. I got hit by a car that knocked me clean off my bike. I smashed my chin on the curb, picked myself up, prepared to continue on to class and had to stop because I was bleeding all over myself and hadn't noticed. Some witnesses saw me get hit and came over to help me; One of them called an ambulance and I was greeted by a lot of police officers and paramedics who asked me a lot of questions and took me to the hospital, even though I insisted I didn't have the time, I needed to get to class.

Turns out my whack on the chin was worse than I thought, even with the massive amounts of blood on my hands. I had to get three stitches put in, and tomorrow I get them removed. I'll have a lovely scar and had to stay home from Thursdays classes because I could hardly move, but my muscles are no longer sore and aching with every move I make; my worst injury is my chin and my knee (that I whacked again and the scab likes to split when I stress my knee too much). Within a few more days I should be right as rain!

Anyways, a doodle I made today during my lunch break. This is Rebel and Ninja, who I very much missed. Me and my friend opened up a new RP and I knew right away I wanted to use these characters again, as the RP I HAD introduced them to, died. I'll also have a chance to RP Yukio, though he's mostly going to be a plot device as he's too unstable and I can't control him on his own. He needs someone to obey.. and I think we've worked this out.

Right, so this is pretty much a process thing cause I had a large number of sketches for this idea.. I like drawing up inch tall thumbs of what I'm going to draw, generally just the bodies, maybe hair, props, clothes, but tiny things. I wanted to practice it on a slightly larger scale and then wound up drawing it to finish.. I don't normally do an actual mock up, but it happened because I got carried away. Then the final drawing, inked, cleaned up, flats and shaded. As usual I'm probably going to get bored and paint in that as actual painting, but I think I'd like to draw Tinette and whatever is underneath all those multiple multiple cloaks these two are wearing.

Posted mostly for the benefit of Corrin x3 because I know she enjoys things like this.

And an experiment

I got this idea today after I bounced my head off some amount of duct work or not that I was supposed to be cleaning at work. I do this quite often in a day, and have multiple bruises I can not explain!

So anyhow, this is the idea I got, more or less, only I originally planned to have the background one colour. When I got home, I was very sad to find my plan wasn't.. working on the computer the way it had in my mind.

I gave up and passed it off as a failure, made a display Icon from it, and buried it away. I told my friend Leah about my experiment, and she asked to see the results. They weren't what I wanted, but I explained the idea I had in my mind and shared the final product, at which she had some suggestions for me to try.. and it fixed my fail! This is the final of a series of three or so test runs, most with varying lines left in, varying lines taken out, but this one here was the closest I had to my original vision. Thanks a bajillion to Leah, who saved it x3

Obviously this isn't DA worthy, i wanted to try making something very flat and simple. I wanted to try making something 'pretty' with a bit of a design flair added to it. My OC Suka (RP healed version), just... looking pretty. =3

Rebel and Ninja!

Tada! Something I drew up really quick time (hence why it's so ugly). Planning to step into a new RP, and had to come up with some characters I wanted to use, so out came the old file folder!

Alright, so these characters are Rebel, and Ninja (I bet you can't guess what they do for a living!)

Remembering the creation of these two brought back some memories actually.. I was talking to my friend Julian, who was telling me about his dog Rebel who had passed, and his dad refused to give him the ashes. He continued to tell me how now all he had to distract him, was his cat Ninja.

I was talking to him, and my mind just ran off in this completely opposite direction and I created Rebel and Ninja, people forms.

Name: Rebel
Race: Elf
Gender: Male
Age: appears 25
Job: Mercenary
Height: 6' (HA, he's short x3)
Personality: Fiercely protective, though perfectly content to let Ninja learn things the hard way.

Name: Ninja
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Job: Ninja
Height: 5'1"
Personality:
Very energetic and rambunctious. Has a terrible sense of direction, but she pulls off being a ninja quite well despite her bubbly personality. Gets frustrated easily when not working.

Right, so Rebel used to be part of the Imperial Guard (or whatever the equivalent of that would be for the current rp) and is branded as such (left shoulder). However, when things at home got a bit.. difficult (his mother took in a human child) he had to leave and go into hiding to protect his little sister. Desertion is frowned on, and he's in a bit of a legal spit because of it. However, he doesn't regret it in the least and cares about Ninja more than anything else, and will do anything for her. He's a great cook (as far as survival cooking goes) and they make money a job at a time, doing their best to keep on the move and under the radar.

Ninja was abandoned in a bush (:B) where she was picked up by her elf foster mother, Alleiah. Of course, such a move would not be accepted by society, so she had to confide in her son, who took Ninja and fled. She doesn't know anybody better than she knows Rebel, and regardless of making his life much more difficult than it needs to be, loves him to bits.

I'm tired

This is Kara :B

As soon as I closed the file, all of my exhaustion came back in one heavy hit and I'm tired again.

Anyways, I made it a goal to get better at inking things, and then.. never inked anything. Way to get better thar Annie *thumbs up* Also discovered that inking and scanning has just about as many benefits as just penciling and scanning x3 I really need some better way to scan my stuff than importing from paint...

Anywho, like I said, this character is Kara. I decided to include her in my story, because I forgot she existed and I need some more females other than the lead x3

Kara is from a really old picture I drew way back in July of 07. I drew this picture when I first created Ain, and just assumed he was a total playboy. He seemed the type, but it turns out I was very very wrong. I took her outfit from another character design from a story I did nothing with, and decided the lead for that story was undeserving of the nifty outfit I gave her.

Kara was nobody important, just a hanger on, a floozy, a blonde, and a slut. She didn't even have a name.

THIS Kara is much much better, she's high energy, very in your face, laughs at just about anything remotely funny, and spends endless hours teasing Ainmire for whatever she can come up with to tease him about. She loves Ain, Ain doesn't reciprocate, but that doesn't stop her from constantly expressing her feelings anyways. She's got a big heart and Ain's rejection doesn't get her down, because she knows that deep down he DOES care about her.

In his own special way :B

Oh, and she's got a spitfire temper. Ain's the level headed one in the relationship here >...>

Chapter closing

It still feels so wrong to have school end in April. Leah kinda brick walled me when she told me that if I was in high school-- I'd be jealous.

And I guess I would be! But right now I'm just like.. Holy shit that was the most fast moving eight months of my life- this last week especially. It's like just yesterday I started going to Sheridan, and now it's done with. I didn't make my goal in getting into Animation, I'm heading into a second year of visual and creative design, and... I've got a house leased with my friends.

Yeah, Didn't see this coming >< Did NOT see it coming from a mile away.

This last week was.. Something else. I've been at school every day so far, Sunday to look at a townhouse to rent, Monday for class, Tuesday to make deposit on said house, Wednesday for class, Thursday because I forgot my homework due Friday, and Today, for class. Now I've said goodbye to my classmates and friends and I'm like.. woah, I can't really believe everything that's happened.

Hell, I've impressed MYSELF this year, which is a bit of a miracle, as I tend to think everything I do is substandard and not meeting up to somebodies expectations of me.

Anyways.. I guess in.. celebration? Naw, let's just call it closing.. In closing of my first year of college-- which was amazing and more than I was ever expecting to find:

Before you think anything, Yes this was based on a true event.

I also couldn't give a shit about the colouration of the goose.

Remember when a spider chased me up my dresser? Well today, a goose chased me clear across a parking lot.

I had a job interview at eight thirty this morning at Sheridan, Davis campus. My dad drops me off at the corner, and I start to walk towards the school, taking a pathway I assume leads towards the main entrance. Well, there was this Canadian Goose sitting on the pathway... I also assumed that as I got closer, it would waddle away, as most.. avian creatures tend to do when you get to close.

Nope. It hissed at me, standing on one foot and looking at me. I stopped dead, deciding I didn't want to mess with the goose, and started to back off... Then it charged at me.

Let's just say my brothers childhood fear of geese makes perfect sense now.

I LIKE COLOURING :B

THIS was an experiment in GET-THAT-SHIT-PAINTED!

because I'm tired and want to go to bed twenty minutes ago x3

Don't know why I'm so tired, I just am. Been a stressful day of Mom/dad/sister/brother/cooking/ants.

I've mentioned before how much I love Montague's hair, right? Yeah, I could draw that guy all day if only to have an excuse to play with his hair.

Not 100% happy with this, Suka's face is a bit funny, Monty's head is too large-- which I totally blame on me getting too carried away with the hair (fixed that in my sketchbook when it started to drive me mad). But, regardless, I very much like it x3

Not the final :B which is why I haven't got it up on DA yet, Like I said, it was an experiment in speed, and after goofing off with the hair for a good fifteen minutes, I realized I was tired and whipped the rest together in roughly seven minutes. Talking just the shading here, not the flat colours...

Second drawing of this, I wasn't going to do anything past my first attempt, but after being prodded into showing off the first one I decided.. Yeah, I am SO redrawing that. And I'm glad I did, because it was fun 8D Sat in bed, watched Batman Beyond (Only batman I like even the slightest), and hunched over my my lamp doodling. All was good, until I had to move, at which point I nearly died.

WEEEEE, I'll reopen this and work on it some more tomorrow x3 Have to shade it properly and attempt some form of background, but YAY, had fun.

Art Vomit!

Kinda.. It's another one of those, "Wow, I have a bunch of files I've never done anything with!" Deals.. So I'm DUMPING THEM ALL HERE 8D hahahahaha.

I need a life seriously x3 But I soooo enjoy not having one.

Yeah, scratch that, not having a life makes it so much better x3

So, doodles to the left!! Even though I'm like.. never ever going to get my arse moving on that untitled comic of mine, for some reason I've been working a lot on doodles from it and working on the characters again..Got inspired for some reason x3 Like hell if I know why.

So the one I actually coloured (Hellz yeah, been enjoying the colouring as of late!) I was playing chapter one in my head again last night, and I added a new scene :B and I decided to give this scene a draw on the bus the following morning.

This is the result 8] I'm also going to take the liberty to say it was a shout out at the sudden and temporary wrist injury I gave myself yesterday! Shaking a bottle of paint, something in my wrist went 'Crk' and I was left with a sharp, white hot pain that ran from the underside of my wrist that wrapped right around and down to my elbow any time I rotated my wrist more than ninety degrees from flat. Luckily, by not moving it for hours (clicking and browsing was made very weird) the pain subsided and I have no lingering... effects 8D

Oh yeah, the dude's name is Eli (EE-lye) and... He's got a cru-- He want's Suka, and isn't very subtle about it. Unfortunately in her home world she's lacking the vampire/werewolf protection she gets in the RP, and she doesn't meet goat boy for a time yet >< So she spends a lot of her free time chasing this asshole off, when he's not.. being physically abusive =/ She's wound up with a lot of brusies because of brushes with this guy =[ Suka lacks the fighting spirit to deal with him properly.. Though she does smash a door in his face when he insults her husband 8D *Cheers* go Suka!

Pinks back...

Doodle to the right of the coloured one, I just wanted to draw someone MOVING for the first time in a while x3 SO THERE, very weird.. action pose.

Doodle directly below that, Suka from that nasty green sketchbook I bought, standing in her usual pose with one arm up holding her basket. *mocks*. Wee herb basket =D

To the left I have doodles of Eli.. I was trying to draw the most NOT threatening person I could, cause he's also the biggest ass of a character I've made. Ooooo, oxymoron *waves fingers* So I totally didn't have this sheet on me while I was working on that coloured picture up there ^ SO, he looks different now XD

I like his tail, it's just as handy as another... well another hand I guess... bad pun... He's also REALLY strong D=> Something to do with whatever race he is (Some kind of demon, I'll come up with specifics later) and.. Let's just say I feel bad for Suka.

WEE, I freaking love drawing x3 Daaaaamn, WHY didn't I get into animation D= I could have done so much with all of my characters and crap ><

NEXT YEAR *shakes fist* Oh just you wait, I'LL BLOW YA OUT OF THE WATER

..

Well I'd better.

Busy, yet totally non-productive weekend!

And the last Drawing I managed to pull off this weekend. Which is actually two drawings that I put together, but yeah, you get the gist.

Started as just a drawing of Suka, and I was like.. this is boring, I wanna draw somebody else too! And I was GONNA draw Chase, but I was like... Hmmm... with recent developments as they are... IWANNADRAWVAMPIRE!!!

But, alas, there wasn't enough room on the paper, cause I sorta drew her just.. hovering in the center of the page for some unknown reason. So out came the second sheet of paper!

Damn Sarah and her uber skinny people DX

But Yay for long flow-y silver hair 8D Oh my goodness that was fun >< both to draw and colour. So yeah.. 99% certain I'd shit myself if i ran into this guy in RL. WAY too tall XD way way way way way way way way way way too tall. And creepy. Sure he CAN be a gentleman, but for the most part.. Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd just be terrified. And I've decided, yeaaaaah, Suka's not short enough. WELL, at least with Monty I don't have to worry about making her too tall, like I always do with Chase!

Even though I was just bitching a couple paragraphs ago about her uber skinny characters, I had a lot of fun drawing Monty as I caught up on the latest episodes of Supernatural. Ha, oh whoops... I totally forgot about the print on his.. kimono/shirt dealy >< BUT THE HAIR! <3 <3 <3

I'm also getting better at the stick people :B

Take THAT you twiggy bastard.

I was very tempted to paint him with candycane hair =P

Suka's outfit is pink again... WELL YOU KNOW WHAT... I don't really care anymore x3

I love Montague XD nuff said.

Picture dedicated to my very amazing friend Sarah =]

I'm out, tired and gotta sleep x3

TWICE IN A DAY?! lozer...

THA'S RIGHT, I'M POSTING AGAIN TODAY

So I was sitting here colouring this thing up
quicktime.. and I was thinking about how I planned to get the file to my sister, who was not online, but in bed sleeping. I'm running options through my head, I could upload it here... Where she would eventually find it.. or I could upload it to photobucket and offline message her the link... Oh but damn, I really wanted to give her the file =/

I'm thinking to myself, "Isn't there some way to give someone a file without them being online?"

And it hit me...

"Yes you stupid shit, It's called E-MAIL" *face/palm* I seriously question my intelligence some days. Today is one of them.

ANYWAYS, my sister asked me if I could make a cartoon of her for her. This wasn't the background I was planning on using, but HEY, I'm so smart I shut down photoshop before I was finished and didn't save the psd file.

Greeeeeeeeat, hope she likes the red and purple dots.

First art post 09!

Okay so technically it is not, but it is my first art post HERE of 09.

So weeee!! i was playing around with my new red pencil thinger (even though my dad bought me like.. every colour of the rainbow, including green) and i doodled.. Suka, again. So much as i love her, i really need some more ideas to doodle X3

So i wanted to try out this colouring technique my friend showed me yesterday, which skips the whole inking step and you just colour the original sketch, which i thought was rather nifty.

So.. i want to try and draw something every day (cause that totally wasn't my goal in the first place) so here i am with my first doodle. And hey, i coloured it! Much happier with my painting style now than i was last year, guess i was just trying too hard. too many shades and colours and eeeeewyness. Went back to school yesterday, and man did it feel good X3 after a month at home with my family, that really was great to see my friends again, because i missed them a lot. It was actually rather depressing that after a month away from them, i finally get to see them, and then just a few short hours later, I'm on the Go, heading back.. home.

I feel traaaaapped here!

Gotta move out @_@ for real. Not that i don't love my family, but.. this town just seems so stifling.

Anyways, got some portfolio stuff to do, a script to attempt to write, so.. I'm out!
